Company Section Championship

The Company Section Battalion Cross Country competition was held in Neilston, where 8 Companies participated.
We were very lucky as the weather held out and thank goodness we had a dry day. This was our first visit to Neilston Pad for this event which once the Boy's got to grips with the hills and the mud underfoot they then had some encounters with the farm animals on the paths despite all this most had an enjoyable experience.
A huge thanks to all who were involved with the organising and prep for this event and to all who took part Boy's, Staff, Parents & Friends.
The Junior Team Race was won by 1st Bridge of Weir, 1/3rd Renfrew A Team were 2nd and 1st Neilston A Team took the last place on the podium with 3rd place.
The Senior Team Race was won by 1st Erskine with the 15th Paisley in 2nd place.
Individual Medals were presented in both the Senior and Junior Races on the day.
