BATTALION PRESENTATION NIGHT 2017

On Sunday 4th June our Companies gathered at Oakshaw Trinity Church to present our Boys with the certificates for the Presidents Award and Duke of Edinburgh Bronze and Silver Award. It was great to see so many family and friends in attendance to mark this great achievement by each of the Boys.

During the evening we had the pleasure of awarding the Championship Trophies and certificates to representatives of the winning Companies. The Trophies were presented by Mr Gary Turnbull General manager of Intu Braehead and Mr Craig Martin Head of HR Glasgow Airport who sponsor the Championships. The winners were

Second Place 15th Paisley
Third Place 1st/3rd Renfrew

Junior Section

The Object of the Boys' Brigade is to advance Christ's Kingdom among boys. Each BB company, as part of it's local church, is in the front line of The Brigade's work in achieving its object. The Paisley and District Battalion, comprising all leaders in our area, has the responsibility of supporting it constituent companies.

The Battalion's Mission is encapsulated in the words:
Helping the Church win boys for Jesus Christ.
 
The Battalion's Aims are to:
Support local companies, Develop the Christian commitment of our leaders, Provide effective leadership training, and Organise attractive inter-company activities.
